The Faculty of Philosophy at the Dominican University College, Ottawa, invites applications for a 9-month term position beginning August 15, 2008 (with the possibility of renewal). The Dominican University College is a bilingual university and requires candidates to teach both in French and English. This position is subject to budgetary approval. PhD or ABD in Philosophy required. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. AOS: Political Philosophy, Early Modern Rationalism, Philosophy of Religion; AOC: Classical Metaphysics and Ethics. The Faculty is committed to an historical approach to philosophy. The Department seeks candidates with demonstrated or potential excellence in teaching and scholarship.
